Apple Sandwich (Quick and Easy) (Kid Friendly)

I always look forward to apple season.  It is one of my favorite times of the year.  We had the opportunity to go to the apple orchard this weekend and pick some beautiful scrumptious apples.  Check out:  Kuipers Family Farm

Six years ago when I was pregnant with my son, I just could not get enough apples.  Apple cake, apple muffins, apples in my oatmeal, baked apples with cinnamon, apple pie, and apples to snack on.  You name it, it was apples.  

I have been so busy that I have just been eating them plain.  Here is another quick nutritious snack or even breakfast:

Apple Sandwich
1 mini whole wheat bagel
1 T Almond Butter (no salt or sugar added)
2 Thick slices of apple
pinch of Smoked Maldon Sea Salt (Available at:  The Spice House)

Layer all ingredients and enjoy!
